Mini Maker Faire Back
It’s hard to believe that it’s already August (the Summer has flown by). We hope that all our WABA members, West End Champions, Sponsors and volunteers have had a fantastic Summer thus far. Sometimes we get asked what we do! We wanted to take a minute to remind you all that we are here to advocate for all our members on the West End. We are here to help support all your efforts so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a fun event, special offer or business news you want us to share on social media. The next “Concerts at the Cove” will be on Friday, August 9th 5:30pm to 7pm. Jazz Mafia, will be playing. Calafia and Café Jolie will be back with their great food! Wine and Beer will be available in from Rosenblum Cellars, Rock Wall Wine Company, Faction Brewing and Drake’s Brewing. Come with your family, make it an office party or a neighborhood party. Concerts at the Cove is presented by the Rotary Club of Alameda and is their major fundraiser for Community Grants. Have a beer for a cause! The MiniMaker Faire is back, a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness. It’s on Sunday, August 11th, 10am-4pm, at the intersection of Ranger Avenue and Saratoga Street…….the closest address is 905 W. Ranger Ave. Please consider volunteering for a shift at this fun all ages event (volunteers are needed sign up here). Also, feel free to stop by and say hello to us at the WABA/ Information table. Please join us for our next Monthly Mixer in August which will be generously hosted by our friends at The 1400 on Webster Street. Our Mixers are a great way to connect and get to know more about us and our mission. Please come on by, drop a business card off at the door – we will be giving away a few exciting prizes at the end of the night. |
