Crab Cove Visitor Center's annual Memorial Day Open House is where you can meet a turtle and snake, make a nature craft, take a self-guided history walk, feed fish, and more fun for the family all day long.

Then join us for: 10am-12pm: Minus Tide Discovery Walk, wear mud boot or old shoes for exploring 2-3pm: Memorial Day Memories 3-3:30pm: Fish Feeding program. No registration; drop-in. For information, call (510) 544-3187.

Seaplane Water Fest - New Date!
Join us for a free demo day at the Seaplane Lagoon featuring a variety of water sports available here in Alameda. Get out on the water and try stand-up paddleboarding, paddleboard yoga, kayaking, or sailing. Please note, tours and trials are first-come-first-served. The event is all ages. However, youths must be accompanied by an parent or guardian. To get out on the water there are minimum age requirements -- Stand up paddleboarding (10+), Kayaking (6+), Sailing (8+). What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Plenty of free and secure bike/car parking. AC Transit #96 stops nearby at Pan Am Way and W. Midway Ave. What can I bring into the event? Sunscreen, shades, and waterproof shoes.
