The Fireside remains a gathering spot for Alameda locals since opening in 1942. This neighborhood lounge serves a list of craft beers and spirits sourced exclusively from local breweries and distilleries. Enjoy a pint or cocktail at one of the Island’s longest bars or play some pool or foosball.

Seaplane Water Fest - New Date!
Join us for a free demo day at the Seaplane Lagoon featuring a variety of water sports available here in Alameda. Get out on the water and try stand-up paddleboarding, paddleboard yoga, kayaking, or sailing. Please note, tours and trials are first-come-first-served. The event is all ages. However, youths must be accompanied by an parent or guardian. To get out on the water there are minimum age requirements -- Stand up paddleboarding (10+), Kayaking (6+), Sailing (8+). What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Plenty of free and secure bike/car parking. AC Transit #96 stops nearby at Pan Am Way and W. Midway Ave. What can I bring into the event? Sunscreen, shades, and waterproof shoes.
